Friday August 31, 2018

Finally, Labor Day Weekend has arrived and we get to enjoy our extra day of relaxation all to ourselves. This well-deserved day of rest provides us the opportunity to do whatever we please. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to head out into Dallas or stay in another day, you’ve got plenty of options near Ascent Victory Park. Here’s a few of our suggestions on how to spend your Labor Day Weekend.

Dallas Arboretum

For some, there’s no better way to spend some extra time than enjoying the outdoors. Luckily, The Dallas Arboretum is just as excited about the long weekend and is offering pricing specials so you can easily make the visit. Head to their location where you can indulge in $2 hot dogs and root beer floats all weekend long. Not only that, but you can catch the Mississippi-Texas Tech game on Saturday at 11:00 am and enjoy showings of “The Blind Side” on Sunday at 11:00 am and “Rudy” on Monday at 2:00 pm. A fun weekend full of flowers and football? That’s right.

Dallas Zoo – Labor Day Giveaway
